Toddler busy with the board on an airplane tray table during a flight

"She sat flipping through it for almost the whole flight. No meltdowns, no side-eye from other passengers."

If this is you

You've already packed the bag of twenty tiny toys.

The packed-row scramble every flying parent knows

The wrapped dollar-store toys, doled out one at a time. The snacks you were sure were enough. And still, by an hour in, you're bent double reaching for the third thing that's rolled under the seat in front, in a row you can barely move in.

It's not that nothing works. It's that everything works for four minutes, and then it's on you again.

We built this for the long stretch. One thing you hand over, that holds for the long haul instead of four minutes.

SEE HOW IT WORKS
Why it holds for the long haul

It works with how a toddler's brain is wired, not against it.

Toddlers are obsessed with the "forbidden" adult stuff. Buckles. Latches. Zips. The board hands them all of it at once, in a form they can't break, lose, or drop down the side of a plane seat.

The hands get a job

Real buckles, zips, and laces give little fingers something to solve. Not flashing lights to stare at, an actual task.

The brain locks in

Solving real mechanics pulls them into deep focus. The squirming stops because their attention is somewhere else now.

You retire as the entertainer

No more doling out a toy every four minutes. One thing on the tray, and you get to sit back for once.

Busy board pages unzipping and detaching to fit an airplane tray
The tray-table detail nobody else has

Unzips to fit the tray. Splits to stop the sibling fight.

Most travel toys are either too bulky for the tray or break into pieces that vanish down the side of the seat. Our pages detach, so you can streamline the board down to fit a narrow airplane tray and keep it all in one place.

Two kids in the row? Unzip it and hand each of them a section. The "it's mine" fight ends before it starts, in the one place you really can't escape it.

Will it actually keep my toddler busy?

That's the fear with every plane toy, and it's fair. The difference is there's no single gimmick to get bored of. It's 30+ separate activities (zips, buckles, laces, latches), so finishing one just means starting the next.

Parents tell us it's the thing that holds for the long stretch when the wrapped dollar-store toys are gone by the first hour.

help_outline

Will it work for my child's age?

It's built for 6 months to 5 years, and grows with them. Younger babies pull at the zips and textures with a bit of supervision. From 18 months up it becomes a real skill-builder, buckles, laces, and on the Plus version, letters and numbers.

Younger baby? The Standard is plenty. 18 months and up? Most parents go Plus so it lasts longer.

Isn't this just a cheaper toy marked up? I've seen similar on Amazon.

The look-alikes on Amazon and Temu use glued parts that peel and pop off, the exact choking risk we built ours to avoid. Toddla pages are stitched, not glued, and CE-certified.

We also have the detachable design the cheap versions don't: the pages unzip so it fits a car seat or splits between two kids. It's the difference between a toy that survives a toddler and one that ends up in the bin in a week.

help_outline

Is it safe for my toddler?

Yes. Every piece is soft, non-toxic felt with reinforced stitching, no hard parts, no glued pieces to come loose. It's CE-certified.

For children under 3 we recommend supervised play, as it includes small parts.

I'm flying soon. Will it arrive in time?

We dispatch every order within 24 to 48 hours, with tracking the whole way. Most parents get theirs within about a week.

If your flight is sooner, email support@toddla.co before you order and we'll tell you straight whether it'll arrive in time.

help_outline

What if my toddler doesn't take to it?

Then it costs you nothing. You've got 30 days to try it, on a real drive, at home, wherever. If it doesn't earn its place, send it back for a full refund. Less than 1% of parents ever do.

How big is it?

Open: 17.5 in x 11 in (44 cm x 28 cm)

Closed (carry size): 11 in x 9 in (28 cm x 22 cm)

Weight: about 1 lb, light enough for a toddler to carry.

It's slim and folds flat, so it fits a five-point car seat, an airplane tray, and most diaper bags.

The pages detach, so you can streamline it down for tight spaces or split it between two kids.

"But everything works for an hour, then it's on the floor."

You've packed the bag of toys that lasted four minutes each. We get it. Here's the honest difference.

    No novelty to wear off

A flashing toy thrills once, then it's old by the first hour. This is 30+ problems to solve, finishing one page just means starting the next.

    It grows with them

What a 1-year-old pulls at becomes the buckles a 2-year-old masters and the letters a 4-year-old works on. Trip after trip, not one flight.

    It lives in the carry-on

The tell isn't "my kid liked it." It's that it earns a permanent spot in the bag, trip after trip. The reviews below are parents who never packed it away.

The real test of a toy isn't the first flight. It's whether it's still in the carry-on a year of trips later. The parents below didn't put it away.

The messages we get after the flight.

Unprompted, unedited, sent to us by real parents.

DM: it got us through the whole flight
DM: so easy to pack, came everywhere with us

DM: both kids shared it on the flight
DM: best thing we packed for flying
DM: he didn't even ask for the iPad
    Why we made it

We built this for the flights we were dreading too.

The market was full of toys that were too loud, too cheap, or fell apart in a week. None of them were built for the one place you really can't escape: a packed plane row.

So we made the busy board we wanted in our own carry-on. Soft, so a thrown piece lands quietly. One connected board, so nothing rolls down the side of the seat. Real buckles and zips that hold a toddler for the long stretch, not four minutes. And reinforced stitching with CE-certified, non-toxic materials, because it goes straight into small hands.

It carries the Toddla logo stitched right on it. That's how you know it's the real one, and that it's been tested to the standard a board in your child's hands should meet.

    CE-certified & safety tested
    Non-toxic felt, no hard parts
    Stitched, never glued
The genuine Toddla, logo on the board
    The honest comparison

The iPad is fine on a plane. Here's what the board adds.

We're not anti-screen on a flight, nobody's judging the tablet at 30,000 feet. But the board does something the screen can't, and most parents end up packing both.

    vs
    A tablet The tablet alone
The Toddla busy board The board alongside it
    • Passive watching, hands doing nothing
    • Battery dies halfway through a long haul
    • The meltdown when you take it away
    • Nothing for the seatbelt-sign stretches
    • Hands-on, busy fingers and a working brain
    • Never runs out of charge, ever
    • No comedown, it just gets set down
    • Works on the tray, lap, or gate, anytime

Try it on your next flight. Risk-free.

Use it for 30 days. If it doesn't earn its place in your carry-on, send it back for a full refund. Less than 1% of parents ever do.

    The honest answers

Will it really last a long flight, or quit after five minutes?

That's the fear with every plane toy, and it's fair. The difference is there's no single gimmick to get bored of. It's 30+ separate activities (zips, buckles, laces, latches), so finishing one just means starting the next.

Younger baby? The Standard is plenty. 18 months and up? Most parents go Plus so it lasts the whole trip and beyond.

Does it fit the tray table, or work on my lap?

Both. It sits flat on a standard airplane tray, and works just as well open on your lap during the seatbelt-sign stretches.

And because the pages detach, you can streamline it down to fit a narrow tray or split a section off for a second child in the row.

Is it safe for my toddler?
