Can I send it straight to my grandchild?
Yes. Enter their address at checkout and we ship direct, tracked, wherever they are. The ship by date above the Add to cart button is the one to plan around for a birthday or for Christmas.
What age is it for?
6 months to 5 years. Babies pull and chew, toddlers work the buckles and zips, older ones do the clock, the laces and the puzzles. Supervise play under 18 months.
Standard or Plus, which should I get?
Standard has four pages and suits six months to about four. Plus has eight pages and runs to five, with letter tiles, number lacing and weaving. If they are already walking and talking, Plus has more in it to grow into.
Will their parents actually want it in the house?
It folds shut on a handle and fits in a changing bag, so it is one object rather than a pile of pieces. The letters and puzzle shapes come away on purpose, that is the activity, so the tidy up is a look under the table before you leave.
Is it safe for a 1 year old?
With an adult nearby, yes. Buckles, zips, laces and gears are fixed to the board and the lace is cut to the toddler cord safety length. Puzzle, shape and letter pieces come off on purpose, so supervise play under 18 months and unzip those pages for younger babies.
